And we’re back. Where has the time gone? Well, I am now in school for computer science, I’ve learned how to write in other languages on a rudimentary level, and my understanding of programming concepts and how they work have improved quite a bit. This site included.
Now a year later, I’ve made websites utilizing vanilla Javascript, or React and Astro. There’s concepts in all of these that I struggled with a year ago, but now I have a much better understanding of. And that understanding was mostly just me sitting around thinking, or taking breaks.
Now while a lot of the learning was through web-dev, I also improved by doing other programming projects in other languages. From making terminal applications in python, learning systems programming in C, and reading the entire rust book. All of it has helped me frame things in a different light, which has lead to a healthier approach in programming. In short, I blame myself when things don’t work.
A true sign of growth you could say.
